Microshading / ombré shading

Microshading, also known as Ombre Shading, is a semi-permanent makeup technique designed to create soft, filled-in, and beautifully defined eyebrows.

What is Microshading/ Ombre Shading?

Microshading, also known as Ombre Shading, is a semi-permanent makeup technique designed to create soft, filled-in, and beautifully defined eyebrows. This method uses a specialized electric machine with a single needle that gently and precisely deposits pigment into the skin without going too deep or causing damage.

The process creates small pixelated dots throughout the brow area, resulting in a fluffy, full appearance that mimics the effect of powdered makeup. It’s perfect for achieving the gradient ombre look commonly created with brow makeup, delivering a polished and flawless finish.

This technique is an ideal option for those who love the look of perfectly filled-in brows and want a low-maintenance solution. Microshading is virtually painless and can last up to two years with proper care, allowing you to wake up every day with effortlessly stunning eyebrows.

Understanding the Differences Between

The primary difference between these two methods lies in the tools and techniques used.

Shading

This technique uses an electric device to create a soft, shaded effect that mimics the look of filled-in brows with a natural, pixelated finish. The result is a shadow-like appearance that works well for all skin types and provides a “fluffy” and natural look once healed.

Microblading

This method uses a blade to create individual, hair-like strokes that replicate the appearance of real eyebrow hairs. However, microblading may not be suitable for all skin types.

At the end of the healing process, the shading method often delivers a more seamless and natural appearance, depending on your unique skin type.
