How It Works

The laser precisely targets the pigment in the top layers of the skin, breaking down the ink particles. During the procedure, it is normal to experience:

  • Mild heat sensations.

  • Tingling or “snapping” sensations.

  • Minor skin irritation.

Number of Sessions

Tattoo removal is a process, and multiple sessions are required for optimal results. Because every individual and every tattoo is unique, the exact number of treatments cannot be predicted. Results vary based on:

  • Skin type and age.

  • Tattoo color and the specific type of ink used.

  • The depth and density of the pigment.

Aftercare & Recovery

Understanding the healing process is essential for the best outcome:

  • Normal Reactions: Redness and itching are common and expected following a session.

  • Scabbing: A scab may form and typically lasts 7–14 days, though it can sometimes persist longer.

  • Healing Timeline: Full surface healing generally takes from a few days to several weeks.

Potential Side Effects

While the treatment is highly effective, please be aware of the following:

  • Temporary: Changes in skin color (pigmentation) or texture may occur but usually fade over time.

  • Rare: In some cases, swelling, blistering, small pimples, or scarring may occur. These typically resolve within a few days.

Results vary from person to person, and therefore a 100% guarantee cannot be provided. Similar to medical procedures, outcomes depend on individual skin and body response. In most cases, the majority of the pigment is removed within 1–4 treatment sessions.

Contraindications: Who Should Avoid Treatment?

For your safety, we cannot perform laser tattoo removal treatments if any of the following conditions apply:

Medical Conditions

  • Cancer: Any type of cancer or the current use of anti-cancer medications.

  • Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: Treatment is not permitted during pregnancy (including IVF) or while breastfeeding. You must wait until your regular menstrual cycle resumes.

  • Diabetes: Due to increased skin sensitivity and potentially impaired wound healing.

  • Epilepsy: History of seizures triggered by light.

  • Infections: Any active bacterial or viral infections.

Skin Conditions

  • Inflammatory Skin Conditions: Active infections, herpes, eczema, or rashes in the treatment area.

  • Vitiligo: Treatment may trigger a “Koebner response” in some cases.

  • Keloid Scarring: A history of developing thick, raised scars.

  • Skin Tone: Fitzpatrick Skin Type V or higher.

Medications & Recent Treatments

  • Isotretinoin (Accutane): You must wait at least 6 months after your last dose before starting laser treatment.

  • Photosensitizing Medications: Any medication that increases light sensitivity.

  • Retinol / Retin-A: Must be discontinued at least 2 weeks prior to treatment.

  • Recent Cosmetic Treatments: Deep chemical peels or other intensive cosmetic procedures within the last 3 months.

Sun Exposure

  • Tanned Skin: Treatment cannot be performed on recently tanned skin or skin with significant recent sun exposure.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment will result in a $100 fee. For no-shows or cancellations with under one hour’s notice, the full service fee will be charged.

Photo Requirement

A clear photo of your current brows must be sent via WhatsApp prior to booking. This helps us determine candidacy and provide an estimated number of sessions. Final results and exact treatment needs can only be confirmed during the removal process.
